Natural Dyes on Handmade Paper Madhubani Painting, 'Wedding Procession'

All is color as a young bride is the center of attention. Working in the traditional Madhubani style, Devendra Kumar Jha depicts a marriage procession in rural India. The bride's family accompanies their daughter as she is carried to the groom's home in a palanquin. The artist uses vegetable dyes on handmade paper.
