Yesterday was the end of a big part of the wedding industry. @stylemepretty has been an inspiration for so many of us creative vendors, I’m thankful for the relationships I built with this company and it can’t help but bring a smile to my face and make me sad at the same time. I don’t believe there will ever be a comperable site to SMP, the way they showcased weddings and the words they described my work as well as the work of my colleagues and real life moments will forever be a unique platform that will be no longer by the end of this month. I could always count on SMP to reach brides and grooms as the site had the best optimization and reach in the wedding industry, it’s really a huge loss for us all. What’s next? Who will showcase these moments to their full potential like a site this beautifully crafted did, who will describe my work with words that motivated me and inspired me to keep pushing forward and keep creating? Maybe I didn’t do enough for this site? Maybe I should of sent even more of my work to it? Maybe there is something we can still do to save this special piece of our industry?
