I’ll say it. I’m pretty proud of this moment. Maybe it’s because the honor of this @martha_weddings Cover is shared with people who, for years, have lifted me up, both personally and professionally in more ways than I can count. This image is Charleston in all it’s glory. It’s a jaw-dropping bouquet from one of my favorite people @charlestonstems set on the majestic balcony of Lowndes Grove, it’s a @katemcdonaldbridal @artbynatalietaylor collaboration that I first schlepped to Russia for a @tulipinadesign workshop and that my bride fell in love with from that magical editorial... It’s Something Borrowed and Something Blue for my dear muse @christinazapolski who is as beautiful inside as she is out. It’s a @duetweddings @pitbullsposies @ashley_abpmakeup collaboration and these girls are my everything (we already know this, no need to say more). And all with wonderful help on the day of from @capturedbykatewed and @hullerman . And Lastly, and rather bittersweetly, for this, my third (what?!) cover of Martha Stewart Weddings, I have immense gratitude for @mccormick_michael & @_shiramisu Throughout my tenure of shooting for the magazine, you have pushed me to be better, to seek out beauty and authenticity, meaningful design and important stories of love. I’ve been grateful for every moment on every page and the gift of your support has taken my career to places I never thought imaginable. For you, I most humbly say thank you.
