You’re going to laugh when I tell you this, but last night I got into bed with a cup of tea and read my own magazine. And, you know what, IT WAS BRILLIANT (haha!) It’s actually really funny because I stare at the thing for almost two months while we’re working on it, but I only ever look at it on a screen, I very rarely find the time to read a print copy properly other than a cursory flick through when they arrive to check everything looks OK. I bang on about the fact that PRINT ISN’T DEAD over and over, but the ironic thing is I really hadn’t read my own bloody mag in actual print format… well ever! But doing so only solidified my mission and made me VERY, VERY PROUD of what we do. It’s amazing working on the magazine and seeing it go from Word documents and zip files of images to a beautifully laid out PDF, but its even MORE amazing then seeing it as a physical product. HONESTLY, what a world is this that in 2018 we can not only produce something like this but actually make a difference to people’s lives with it too!? I am forever grateful to everyone who orders the magazine, advertises in it or just generally supports what we do. We couldn’t do it without each and every one of you.
