BEAUTIFUL DESTINATIONS

The site of this plane wreck — remnants from a crash over 40 years ago — is located on a black-sand beach in South Iceland and has quickly grown to become a stopping point for tourists adventurous enough to find its unmarked path. Travel tip: You can no longer access the beach by car, so bundle up well to reach the plane — via a 4-kilometer walk — from the main road. (
