09.11.2019. This was on my run this morning. As those of us who were part of the events that unfolded 18 years ago today, I too reflect on that time. It was one of the most pivotal times of my life. The winter of 2001 I lost my mom to cancer, I turned 30 that summer and then our beloved city fell apart in September. One thing I know for sure, not only is this country mighty and resilient, so are we humans. Somehow though we have to do better. Like the days and weeks that followed 09/11 we came together. We have to remember and make this world better.
