ten years ago today, on October 23, 2009, I quit my day job as a writer at a political organization to become self employed as a photographer. By then, had been shooting weddings for two years on the weekends and was ready to do it full time. My photography career has been more amazing than I could have dreamt up. I’ve shot hundreds of weddings, lots of travel pieces, portraits, editorial and even a few books along the way. So much has happened in ten years, yet so much has stayed the same—my amazing clients still surround me with beautiful content...and my colleagues inspire me, push me and believe in me. I feel so much gratitude and I hope this little post inspires you to take a leap of something you’re dreaming of ...you never know where you could be in ten years!
