I loved that Paul and I were such a team with the planning and we only chose to include things that were important to us. I loved planning the biggest party ever and customising it to our taste! This lady not only chose Barry White to play as she literally danced down the aisle but, along with Paul, tossed out everything that didn’t mean anything to them (and kept what did!)⁠ ⁠ And I know, we keep harping on about this, but the point of your wedding day? Not to be “different” and toss out tradition for the sake of it, but to toss out what doesn’t matter to you & to keep what matters to you. If walking down the aisle with your dad is something that you truly want to do, do it. If you want to wear a big white ballgown, do it. If you hate the idea of dancing alone on the dance floor with your beloved, toss it. Ignore what your mates did, what cousin Barry and Aunt Joan want, or did at their own big days.
