Wedding - Polka Dot Bride

Polka Dot Bride

"Try not to get too caught up in the details - something is bound to go wrong and not turn out as you had planned, but it's not worth working yourself up over, choose beforehand that if things don't go as planned that it's ok. There are already so many emotions on the day, make sure you're choosing which ones you let loose." We're never ones to shy away from emotion, so we wanted to make sure we shared this sage advice from bride Kristyn. The term "bridezilla" is yuck to us for many reasons, one of which is, weddings are just a mess of stress and emotions, and being assertive in that, often (and yes, not always) one gets marked as being a "bridezilla" when it's really just setting your own kind of boundaries. But we know too, that there is a moment, a time when you have to let go, to really be able to enjoy it. And that is especially true on the day itself, when the rain may fall, someone may trip and dump champagne on your wedding dress, or someone might forget their pants (all things that we've experienced, can you tell?) But making that conscious decision to let it go on your wedding day? And having that mindset from the beginning? Golden. See the wedding of Kristyn & Jayden, as captured here by @smokey_oscar at the ever fab @40_rd on the link in our bio x Ms Polka #polkadotbride #feelgoodweddings #diverselovestories #weddingindustry #therisingtidesociety #communityovercompetition #momentsovermountains #loveauthentic #bestdayever #newlyweds #weddingphotographer #weddingphotography #belovedstories #loveintentionally #documentaryweddingphotography #portraitcollective #radlovestories #thatsdarling
