Speak your fucking truth. It’s all you can do. Not everyone will agree. Not everyone will understand. Some people will misinterpret or get darn right pissed off. But don’t dull your fire, lose your sparkle or let your ideas die because people don’t get it. If you put yourself out there (especially online!) its impossible to never offend anybody. Its impossible to never write something that can be misconstrued. It’s impossible to have everyone love you all the time You don’t have to like me. You don’t have to agree with me. You don’t even have to follow me (shocking I know!) But I will continue to share my story and speak my truth because that’s just who I am. It can be hard to read nasty or argumentative comments (even when they are dressed up as ‘constructive’. Believe me, it’s still tough) but I know that for everyone that dislikes me there are 1000 people that love what I do, that are inspired by my words and feel empowered, happier and more confident by seeing the content I put out. And for that reason alone, it is entirely worth every piece of criticism.
