Last night I spoke to one of my closest friends who is an NHS nurse ⠀⠀⠀ She phoned me in floods of tears after a long shift because she couldn’t believe the news and images she saw about people ignoring the government's advice to stay at home. She was in shock and just utterly deflated that so many people headed out for a nice ice cream by the sea, despite the advice, whilst she was working on the frontline, putting her life at risk and not spending time with her family when she needs them the most
