Inspiration is the backbone of my business. As a Creative Director of a magazine an Art Director of several brands, I thrive on ideas and dreams that come to me, which I scribble in the little notebook that follows me everywhere. Whenever I need a boost of creativity, my tried-and-true ways to feel inspired is when I’m cooking, chatting with my fellow creative entrepreneurs, painting, and listening to my favorite podcasts. But these days it’s changing. Being able to take morning walks, listen to birds chip and get fresh air has been my new inspiration. How do you stay inspired, friend? Speaking of chatting with my creative friends, I’m going to be on IG Live 9:30am PST tomorrow with Heather of @myrtleetolive. I met her a few months back at @thesketchbookseries creative retreat and she left such a huge impression on me. Not only am I inspired by her savvy business sense, her incredible gift of seeing and creating with florals but her sense of style and grace has me wanting to shop where she shops.
