Red and White Anniversary Party from Alison Events

Red and White Anniversary Party from Alison Events

If this anniversary party had a theme it was family. The couple met in Seattle in 1968. After Graduate School in 1972, bride at University of Washington and groom at Stanford University, they were off to California to get married with about 40 of our closest friends and family in attendance. Three children, seven grandchildren, and a few chapters later, they marked their 40th anniversary with an incredible celebration in the wine country.

This party is one of those events with enough details for forty parties! From the custom table runners to the chalkboard seating chart to the kids craft station, there is plenty of inspiration to be found in this Alison Events production.

Table numbers were created with salvaged wood and silver house numbers. Vibrant floral arrangements included red and orange dahlias, dark red scabiosa, pieris, red viburnum berries, fall color hydrangea and mokara orchids. Between the arrangements, potted herbs (parsley, basil and chives) were available for guests to snip and add to their meal! Table runners were embroidered with words like family, loyalty, joy, and love.

Miniature clothespins attached favorite family photos to a photo wall made of vintage bed springs.

This kids’ tent would be a dream come true for any young guests! Decorated with bunting and comfy floor seating, there were toys, a movie, and craft projects galore.

Atelier Joya designed an oversized chalkboard wall with a “family tree” that the kids were invited to decorate.
