DIY: Origami Heart Escort Cards

DIY: Origami Heart Escort Cards

via

We love this fun + sweet idea for escort cards from the creative gals from Smitten on Paper! So easy to make and you could change the colors to match your wedding day colors. The hearts could also make a sweet ceremony backdrop (with no words on them) covering an otherwise boring wall. So many ways to use these hearts!

Materials:
• Gold Sharpie
• Our printable or paper cut to 6 x 6 inches

Steps:

Step 1: Trim your paper down to 6 x 6 inches

Steps 2 & 3: Fold it in half, open it back up and fold it again. You will want to have 2 creases.

Step 4: Fold the top point of the paper to meet the crease in the center

Step 5:  Fold the bottom point to meet the top

Step 6: Fold the right side to meet the crease in the center

Step 7: Fold the left side to meet the crease in the center

Step 8: Turn it around and fold in the right and left smaller points

Step 9: Fold the top points down to meet the top crease

Voila!!! You’re all done and have a really a cute origami heart! :) We used a gold sharpie and wrote each guests name along with their table number to use as sweet escort cards!
