Today’s gorgeous styled shoot features a real-life couple, their real-life friends and their real-life – and really adorable – kids! Brit + James recently celebrated their anniversary, so they teamed up with the enormously talented Lisa Leonard + Cameron Ingalls to model for a staged, at home vow renewal! This shoot provides perfect inspiration for those of you thinking of, or planning, a vow renewal – or any intimate celebration for that matter. I love that they chose to host the fête in what feels like the charming + cozy confines of the couple’s home. And I’m pretty sure you’re going to adore all of the simple, yet beautiful, details the team incorporated into the design… 

The pretty, vibrant bouquet  was composed of peonies, poppies, tulips, fern + more. For a vow renewal, I think it would be such a fun idea to go for something totally different than what your wedding bouquet looked like!

I love all of the heartfelt, relaxed + unexpected moments that are bound to happen at an at home vow renewal. In fact, at one point during the ceremony Brit + James’ son, Jesse, came up and hugged his mom’s legs during an emotional moment. How sweet is that??!!

Two Cooks Catering whipped up a fun and delicious meal and Brickhouse Goods provided an eclectic mix of plates, wooden utensils, pretty cups + more.
