Rain Fall Proposal | Madison Short Photography

We've heard it said that rainy wedding days are lucky because a wet knot is harder to untie than a dry one. How much more blessed is a couple that gets engaged in the rain? Madison Short Photography captured an Annapolis city docks engagement that we adore! Unconventional, heartfelt, and with a little help from Natalie's friends, Ed got down on his knee in the pouring rain - hoping the woman of his dreams would become his wife!

We love what Maddie had to say about capturing the proposal (with her second shooter, Tricia Oxford),

Natalie thought she was having dinner with a few of her close friends, but she was about to get a surprise of a lifetime! It was something you see in a romantic movie, the rain coming down, Ed patiently waiting for the love of his life to arrive, and at the very same spot where they love spending their evenings in downtown Annapolis. With close friends surrounding them, Ed got down on one knee and asked his best friend to spend the rest of her life with him,- and she said YES!! A little rain could not stop the excitement and happiness!

Born abroad, but raised as a Maryland girl through and through, Rebekah knew that her love for weddings made her a perfect fit for the Bayside Bride team. After interning for the blog in Fall of 2011 she worked hard to finish her degrees in English & Media and Communications at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Graduated and ready to return, she wants nothing more than to pass her love of event planning & weddings onto brides-to-be.
