Roses will always be a timeless element to add to your wedding. We just love how Chuma combined these soft colours of roses as part of her wedding. Chuma and Mbuzeli recently got married at Gonubie Manor in the Eastern Cape. Photograhy was done by Debbie Kelly Photography.

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

We met at a very young age through mutual friends, but never thought in a million years
we would end up as husband and wife. We met again in May 2012 after several years at
my birthday party. We started dating and as they say the rest is history.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

He whisked me away on a road trip to Durban in August the same year. It was the best
time of my life, I wanted to enjoy every moment. A marriage proposal was the last thing
on my mind. At dinner, we had the best seat in the restaurant, waitrons were super
friendly, lighting was perfect, it was an intimate setting. While gazing into each other's
eyes enjoying the moment, he expressed his undying love as he asked the big question.
And of course I said "YES". It was a perfect weekend getaway proposal.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

It was our matrimonial ceremony which began with tears as he saw me walk down the
aisle. Most of all was the bond witnessed by family and friends and cemented before
God. It was indeed the day that the Lord had made, it was for us to rejoice and be glad in
it.

I Quote | Describe in one sentence your wedding day

It was an elegant fun-filled day, full of laughter with friends and family.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides
