For its much-anticipated New York debut, Barcelona bridal atelier Pronovias showcased an impressive array of ravishing and ultra-feminine designs. With origins dating back to the 1920s, the Spanish fashion house's familiarity crafting exquisite pieces for generations of women spoke to the latest collection's inspiration, which celebrated femininity and the diversity of the female body. Taking this vision into account, it's no surprise Pronovias's Fall 2016 collection showcased nearly every stunning bridal style imaginable. Silhouettes ranged from classic A-lines and ball gowns to figure-hugging shapes with an impeccable attention to detail. Brides seeking a more traditional look for their wedding day will have an assortment of classic-styled gowns from which to choose. Topping the collection's timeless looks was a resplendent A-line white satin gown paired with an intricate lace-embroidered bodice and illusion sleeves that evoked an exceptional regal feel. Pronovias's latest offering also boasted a line of sleek and sophisticated silk crepe gowns with seductive cutout backs, for the perfect chic, minimalist look. Capturing this effortlessly refined aesthetic was a pristine white sheath dress with a flowing full-body cape. Channeling the line's Spanish roots, the collection incorporated lace in a variety of forms. Perhaps the collection's most striking use of lace appeared in its daring and provocative sheer designs, which saw revealing curve-hugging pieces fashioned from lace-embroidered mesh, for a dramatically seductive look.
