Known for her signature dramatic and seductive looks, Kleinfeld favourite Pnina Tornai held nothing back for her Fall 2016 collection. Brimming with bold and extravagant designs, Tornai's newest collection, entitled Wind Upon Water, channeled nature's inherent beauty and explored the relationship of earthly elements. Inspired by the imagery of flowing water, Tornai fashioned her gowns with ruffled accents to capture its graceful movement. Sheer layering, luminous fabrics, glittering crystals and rhinestone embellishments evoked the transparency of water and glistening sunlit waves. Curve-hugging mermaid silhouettes also played into Tornai's water motif, which featured an ultra-feminine sweetheart neckline ivory tulle gown, with Swarovski crystal-encrusted straps, ruched bodice and illusion corset back. Coral-shaped beaded appliques and pearl details added to the collection's aquatic vibe, while chiffon fringe skirts gave gowns a soft, wind-swept appearance.

Modern, fashion-forward brides will have an array of looks from which to choose, including a retro silk chiffon long-sleeve kaftan, a two-piece crystal-embroidered short sleeve ball gown and - the season's hottest look - a polished jumpsuit with lace appliques and daring illusion back.

Tornai's collection would not have been complete without at least one larger-than-life design. This season it came in the form of a voluminous ball gown with Spanish-inspired lace ruffles and frothy layers, reminiscent of cascading tides.
