Getting ready for Kendall and Kylie's pre-New York Fashion Week collection launch bash, I flipped on the TV in my hotel room and there they were. How funny, I thought, remembering that last time I prepared to interview the Jenners, the exact same thing happened in different hotel room. But then I remembered that these women are on TV all the time.And now, perhaps the world's most watched, most followed celebs will be in the mix with big fashion labels as the clothing and shoes from their brand new line Kendall + Kylie go live at Nordstrom.

The vibe of the downtown Manhattan house-party style celebration was definitely "friends and family"-friends like Hannah Bronfman, and family like ... well, you get it.

The party was made up of three floors-two for everyone, one just for VIPS-but it really felt like an intimate sort of thing. There were tiny burgers circulated on trays, a rad photo booth, and tons of Polaroid cameras that seemed to be magically reloaded with fresh film at the precise moment it became necessary.

Dotted throughout the town house event space were elements from the girl's lives. It was a night about them, and their most-loved clothes and shoes-which the girls say were designed with Kendall's "sleek feminine style" and Kylie's "dynamic edge" in mind.
