Satiny, glowing skin will forever be the most coveted look for summer; high-quality exfoliation and the smoothing effects of a body shimmer will deliver envy-inducing skin that radiates healthiness and feels like silk to the touch!

Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) are beloved by skin care professionals and shoppers alike because they are nonabrasive exfoliating acids. They work their magic by targeting and dissolving the bonds keeping the dull, dry outer layer of skin attached to the bright, soft new skin beneath. Luckily for us, with just one rinse of LANCER Skincare's The Method: Body Cleanse, lackluster skin is sent down the drain! Want to step up the exfoliation? Use Elemis's skin brush to dry-brush your skin before you hop in the shower! It's summertime again, and I know you've heard the ol' saying "Be sure to layer on that sunscreen!" time and time again. I'm here to tell you the same thing; but also add in some of my all-time favorite summer skin care tips and tricks. During those hot summer months, I like to avoid pore-clogging SPF products on my face. Pores tend to look more obvious in hot or humid weather, and I am certain anyone would want to avoid that.

My go-to is the Shiseido Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 42. It's incredibly lightweight, controls excess sebum, and gives skin a matte appearance while guarding against daily environmental aggressors. It also contains paeonia albiflora root extract to help reduce the look of visible pores and scutellaria baicalensis extract to promote youthful-looking skin. You can't beat that!

I always recommend exfoliating more than once a week during the summer months to slough away dead, dulling skin and help shrink those pores! I personally use the GLAMGLOW YOUTHCLEANSE Daily Exfoliating Cleanser. It gently exfoliates, cleanses and renews skin to create a younger-looking, glowing complexion. And please be sure to moisturize this summer. It's so vital for your skin! One of my favorite summer eye-makeup trends is adding a pop of color for a fun, festival-inspired look. This can be done by lining the waterline with a colorful eyeliner or even applying a shimmer eyeshadow on the inner corner of the eyes. To add intensity to my shimmer shadows, I like to spritz a little setting spray on my makeup brush after dipping it into my eyeshadow. On those "less is more" days, I love to swap out my colored eyeliner for a cream-colored one to make my eyes look fresh and wide awake.

Dolce&Gabbana Beauty Light Blue: This is an absolute staple scent! D&G launched this fragrance over 15 years ago, and it's been a bestseller ever since. Light Blue is my favorite summer classic because as soon as you spray it, you're instantly energized. The soft citrus notes create a crisp, clean aroma, while the mandarin, bluebell and rose give off the ultimate flirty vibe. This is the perfect blend for all ages, and it will rack up the compliments all day long!

High-fashion couture house Maison Martin Margiela is known for its French elegance. Recently, Margiela launched an innovative line of 10 fragrances that capture every mood. The most effortless summer pick of the 10 options is easily Replica Beach Walk, which features classic summer notes such as lemon, pink pepper and bergamot. My favorite feature in this scent is the blend of coconut milk and musk, which adds a hint of warmth for a sultry twist. This is your romantic summer date night, in a bottle!

Blush: I just can't help but be completely obsessed with the cult classic NARS Orgasm blush. The peachy-pink base and hints of golden shimmer create a universally flattering shade, suitable for almost all skin tones. The shimmer in the pan can be intimidating to some, but it translates beautifully onto the skin and gives you a fantastic golden glow-perfect for summertime. The formula of this blush is very smooth, it blends and applies easily to the cheeks, and it's rather forgiving. You can't go wrong with it!

Highlighter: My highlighters are my absolute favorite products in my collection. It is difficult for me to pick just one, but I would have to say the holy grail of the collection is the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance baked powder in Highlight 01. This is my go-to because it creates a beautiful yet natural-looking highlight that makes cheekbones look like they've been kissed by the sunlight. It can be applied lightly for a day-to-day look, or built up for a stunning glow on a night out!
