Jordan and Mike's Burritt on the Mountain wedding was the epitome of Southern charm. "From Jordan's classic lace dress to the garden party inspired floral arrangements and even the seersucker bowtie for Colt, their chocolate lab and Best Dog, the details of this wedding were perfection," shares Jett Walker Photography. "An adorable lemonade station greeted guests for the ceremony overlooking the mountain. The details continued up to the altar and into the reception where the tables were adorned with gorgeous serenity blue table cloths and more amazing florals."

The gorgeous couple's Burritt on the Mountain wedding day was filled with dusty blue, ivory and gold decor, complemented by cranberry, peach, and dusty pink floral arrangments. Jordan told us that her favorite personal touch of the ceremony was including Colt, their chocolate lab, as "Best Dog". Quite possibly it's ours too! What a cutie pie!

"My husband and I enjoy spending time outdoors with each other, so we knew right away that we wanted our ceremony to be surrounded by the beauty of nature," shares Jordan. "We found the perfect spot in Huntsville at Burritt on the Mountain. We wanted our theme to highlight the simple elegance of the setting. We took inspiration from our Southern roots for our Burritt on the Mountain wedding, and added personal touches that were special to us!"

Mike and I met at work. When I left the company, we remained friends and it grew into something more! I was really struck by how caring and thoughtful he is. I knew I loved him when he cooked me dinner for the first time...what can I say, the best way to my heart is through my stomach! We have had many adventures since we started dating, and quickly knew that we would be together forever. Mike proposed right before our one year anniversary, and made me the happiest girl in the world!! Our bouquets were loose, soft, and romantic. I wanted a lot of greenery paired with large garden roses and a long lace ribbon.

My gown had a slight fit to flare silhouette, lace, a touch of bling, and not too revealing. I think the addition of my cathedral veil really made the dress! For hair I wanted a loose, romantic updo that wasn't too perfect, paired with makeup that played up my eyes. Of course, I wanted dramatic lashes! The bridesmaids wore Jenny Yoo Annabelle dresses in Mayan Blue Tulle. I knew right away that my bridesmaids' dresses were going to be a dusty blue color, and the entire wedding color palette actually evolved from there!

I picked traditional music to walk down the aisle to, since the setting wasn't a traditional church. I walked down the aisle to Canon in D, my favorite! Nothing is more romantic than a string quartet!

Nothing beats a classic tux! Groomsmen and Groom all wore Vera Wang tuxes and had boutonnieres with a cream garden rose.

My wedding designers found an awesome oriental runner at a thrift store that had the dusty blue accent color in it, so it felt like it was just meant to be!

The ceremony was outside at a Gazebo that overlooks the city of Huntsville. We used simple linen curtains with greenery and floral tiebacks to create the perfect backdrop for the altar.

I think my favorite personal touch of the ceremony was that we decided to include our chocolate lab, Colt, as "Best Dog". He looked so handsome in his blue seersucker bow tie and took his job very seriously!

The reception consisted of dusty blue table linens, white scalloped dishes, gold flatware, and variations of centerpieces that ranged from smaller, wood planters to antique brass containers. After a 30 minute cocktail hour on the veranda, guests walked in to enjoy good food and great music. We danced the night away!

Wedding Planning Advice: I learned that staying organized and keeping a binder for all of the vendor information was key! Also, ask for help! I had a difficult time delegating tasks to willing friends and family, but when I was able to take something off of my plate, it helped tremendously! Burritt on the Mountain Wedding Vendors:

Our caterer set up amazing stations that offered southern comfort food with a cajun twist (a large portion of my family is from Lousiana and we LOVE cajun food).
