The last day of the year always sends me into a time to reflect, take stock of the year that has been and ponder on the one that is to come. French Wedding Style started back in 2011 as little old blogger me, go from helping a friend plan her wedding in France to setting up as a blogger whilst working my full time job.

2017 will see French Wedding Style head into our sixth year as a wedding blog, and we have evolved from just me to a growing FWS team, dedicated to shining a light on weddings in France. Still the only and original wedding blog dedicated to Weddings in France, 2016 has also seen us crowned the Best International Wedding Blog, thanks to the ongoing support of the FWS Community and our readers.

However evolution is always something that we embrace at FWS and 2017 is set to be an amazing year full of changes, that will start to roll out in the coming months.

I still vividly remember pressing 'publish' on the first ever blog post back in October 2011 and never dreamed of the journey that would lead us to where we are now.

But above all as I reflect on the year, I have overwhelming gratitude for the little idea that allowed me to become so connected with truly wonderful vendors, networks and brides through the FWS Community. However you choose to celebrate the passing of 2016, I raise a glass to each and everyone of you reading this post, and thank you for being part of the FWS Community.
