1924 Wedding: Heiress Cornelia Stuyvesant Vanderbilt (1900-1976) and British aristocrat John F. A. Cecil, a descendant of William Cecil. Their sons, George Henry Vanderbilt Cecil (b. 1925) and William Amherst Vanderbilt Cecil (b. 1928), eventually inherited the Biltmore Estate she had inherited from her father in 1914. #celebrity
