Tiffany only accepts stones in the “colorless” to “near colorless” range. The closer a diamond is to “colorless," the rarer and more valuable it is. Additionally, the Tiffany Gemological Laboratory will not accept stones exhibiting strong or excessive fluorescence, which, in natural lighting, gives diamonds a milky appearance.
