Happy Monday wedding lovers!! What a hot, hot, hot weekend!!  I love the sun, so for me the weekend was a balance between soaking up the rays and seeking shade to get some work done.  It was a perfect wedding weekend too, what more could any bride wish for?

For this week’s inspiration board I’m sticking with the summery theme, although this colour palette could look equally classy at an elegant winter wedding.  It’s more than inspired by one of my very favourite designers, Kate Spade, who cleverly balances bright girly colours with bold geometrics.  The palette uses a modern monochrome backdrop with a glamorous touch of gold sparkle and a punchy hit of fuchsia pink.  Keeping the look contemporary is  geometric stationery designs, followed through with stripy straws, polka dot patterns and chevron accessories.  Using blousy, romantic roses and peonies keeps the look feminine and pretty, while a gold sequin dress is the ultimate bridal statement!
