Classy Country Wedding At Spanish Oaks Ranch

Classy Country Wedding At Spanish Oaks Ranch

via

Spanish Oaks Ranch was the perfect setting for Joe and Kelly, the small town/country raised couple who wanted to have their day feel like a mix of traditional and casual. Being married outdoors was important to both of them, that lent to the feeling they wanted to portray: a lace and burlap, classy and comfortable, barn-backed garden party with all the style and elegance associated with a traditional wedding.

Overall it was an amazing wedding full of beautiful flowers, loving friendships, and delicious food. Just can't get enough? The bride worked closely with Melinda Lynch, owner of Festive Designs, to handpick and coordinate the unique color and texture combinations. The aisle was covered in a roll of burlap, which blended in with the dirt and created a smooth, clean surface for everyone to walk down. The burlap tied together the country feel of the ceremony and table centerpieces at the reception.

The getaway car was a 1939 Buick Special belonging to the bride's family. This wedding was full of lovely details from the wildflower-esque bouquets sprinkled throughout the venue, to the mismatched frames resting in hanging plate displays, holding the table assignments. The centerpieces consisted of delicate flower bouquets held in old Patron bottles, the quartz stones holding the table numbers were collected from the Bride's family property, various shaped and sized jars were hand decorated with lace and/or twine to hold candles, and a lavender stem was tucked in the napkin of each place setting.

The guest book consisted of the couple's engagement photos arranged in a Shutterfly book, which sat upon a small antique family table, along with a framed note encouraging family and friends to share stories and advice with the soon-to-be newlyweds. Coordinating miniature soaps were displayed in a beautiful box from the manufacturers, along with another framed note from the bride and groom sharing appreciation for the guests. The dessert table was covered in beautiful pies, each made with someone special in mind: Olallieberry Pie, a local favorite; Chocolate Cream Pie, the bride's favorite; Peach pie, the groom's favorite; Key Lime Pie, a family favorite.
