Post wedding French inspired photo shoot in New Orleans

The day after the wedding, the nerves are gone and you are celebrating being husband and wife and it is the perfect day to have your post wedding shoot. I am in favour of post wedding day shoots, they allow the couples and their photographer to have a bit more fun, in a more relaxed environment as there are no strict timings to keep or guests to solicit

That is exact what today's newlyweds did in New Orleans with the help fo their photographer Pure Sugar Studios and throw in a French inspired photo shoot and I am sold!

The new Mr & Mrs were so fun and relaxed after a full night of fun celebrating their nuptials, and I knew there were so many fabulous places around the city! We started the photo shoot out at the Ritz Carlton in Downtown- where the couple spent their first night as husband and wife. This provided for the perfect backdrop for some fun bed shots, and some getting ready shots. Afterwards we headed out into the city. We stopped at city park to capture a few stunning shots in front of the church and in the gardens. Then we headed to the infamous Café Du Monde, where they enjoyed some time talking a laughing over some sweet pastries, and the bride thought it would be fun to blow powder in the groom's face - which made for a fun shot! We took some props along to add additional character for the photos, which was really great to see the two of them have so much fun with it."

Kelly from Pure Sugar Studios takes us through the shoot: " This fun "French inspired" city day after shoot took place in New Orleans, Louisiana. The couple wanted to have a bit of fun with their wedding photos, so we opted to have a session the morning after the wedding.
