Stylish & Rustic Peach & Dove Grey Wedding | Whimsical Wonderland Weddings

Oh how I am head over heels for today's wedding. Bride Anna is a stylist and there was no doubt that her wedding to Andrew wasn't going to be a stylish affair.

Andrew and Anna tied the knot on 27th September 2013 at The Tythe Barn, Oxfordshire. They wanted a day which was rustic with a cream, peach and dove grey colour scheme.

There were the sweetest little ones, letter lighting by Vowed and Amazed and pretty blooms. I especially love the bridesmaid's look; with lace peach dresses and grey sashes and flower crowns.

Anna made the most beautiful bride, she had her hair in perfect waves, decorated with florals and donned a stunning dress by Charlie Brear. Andrew looked dashing in a grey Paul Smith suit with cream tie and rose buttonhole. Delightful.

Thanks so much to Kari Bellamy for sharing her gorgeous photographs with us today.

Being a stylist I am responsible for the production of photo shoots for magazines and planning a wedding is exactly the same process - location, catering, clothing, hair and make-up, props. We both agreed on a colour scheme of cream, peach and dove grey and the rest all came together. I'd had a good idea of the kind of things I wanted too so it was just a case of booking them!

The Venue... The Tythe Barn Launton, Oxfordshire. We wanted to get married outside and the Tythe Barn has a great walled garden with a wisteria covered walkway to act as the aisle. It also has a the back up plan of the barn if the weather isn't on your side so there was no need to panic in the months before.

Shoes were from Jigsaw, simple gold court shoes. My something new was my dress! My borrowed was a vintage bracelet which was one of my bridesmaids, my something blue was a little blue bow from my Mum which was sewn into my underwear and my something old was a piece of lace from my great Gran's veil from her wedding day which was sewn into the lining of my dress

The Flowers... A very talented friend did our wedding flowers. She is a prop finder and set designer in tv. I went to Covent garden flower market with her and chose all the styles I wanted. I knew I wanted very loose, wild styles rather than the traditional wedding style. I sourced a number of small medicine bottles, jars, vases etc and used those on the tables which worked well. My bouquet included freshias as my Mum had the same in her bouquet.

The Details + Decor... We hired illuminated A's as a backdrop for the dancefloor. For favours we had iced biscuits made in weddng cake and A shapes - these were also the place names. For the table plan, we got a photo of all the guests (without them knowing) and had them printed in polaroid style pics then hung them all in their allocated tables which acted as a funny talking point among the guests.
