This engagement shoot is so full of love and pretty ideas that I just couldn't wait to share it with you all.

Kayleigh and Andrew headed to Glangrwyney Court, where they are getting married next week. I so love their love story and how special their wedding plans sound. Be sure to check out the pretty blooms and the sweet bicycle too :-)

Thanks so much to the utterly fabulous Gemma Willliams for sharing her images with us today.

"Years later, one evening, I was out with my friends at our local pub to find twenty year old Andrew working behind the bar. I just couldn't resist his piercing blue eyes and cheeky grin and we soon started dating and became a couple. Eight years on, waking up on Christmas Day, in our own little cottage, Andrew got down on one knee and popped the question. He presented a beautiful, bespoke, vintage style engagement ring. He told me it was the ring I'd fallen in love with earlier that summer in a small jewellers while on holiday in Weymouth. It was so romantic!
"We decided on a fun, laid back, festival themed wedding for the day, calling it our 'Love Fest'. Everything from a tiny handmade, bunting cake topper made by my Nan to the detailed 'festival pass' style invitations, designed by Andrews talented sister Jacqueline, has been lovingly crafted and handmade by our nearest and dearest friends and family."We are getting married at. Moriah Baptist Church, Risca, a place that holds many memories, both happy and sad. My parents married there back in 1982 along with many other family members over the years. The ceremony will include elements of the Welsh language due to Andrews strong Welsh background. Most wedding plans are complete and we are now bursting with excitement for the arrival of July 25th."
It means a lot to us for the day to include little, personalised touches made by those closest to us and this is what we've got, with a few surprises along the way ;-) (there are perks to marrying a carpenter!)" We revisited the jewellers a year later to purchase our wedding bands. The wedding plans soon flew into full swing in January that year, booking the first wedding venue we visited, the stunning "Glangrwyney Court" in Crickhowell."

Kayleigh: "We first met 18 years ago when our families became friendly while on holiday in Newquay, West Wales. I was 9, Andrew was 12 (we have actual video footage!). Our families met up for some years at Christmas time but soon lost touch, despite living only 10 minutes away from each other."

" We decided on the wedding venue as the perfect location for our engagement shoot with Gemma. It has such a laid back atmosphere, which is exactly what we wanted. We walked around our house, picking up bits and pieces bought over the years that we thought would work well with the style of the shoot, even a kitchen chair! We literally almost brought everything, apart from the kitchen sink! It was so exciting and nervewracking seeing the photographs. We were completely amazed and could not believe that it was really us! We are really lucky to have such a creative, talented photographer to capture our special day."

Gorgeous!!

I hope you both have the loveliest day next week Kayleigh and Andrew, thank you for sharing your love story with us XOXO Lou
