I guess colouring books are the worst idea ever. I hated them. They limit child's imagination and probably teach how to stay within the limits someone else enforces. This is why I never offer my kids any colouring books. Instead, I give them an empty piece of paper and a brush.

Last week I wanted to give my them some new painting perspective and I prepared giant Homemade Paint Brushes which Allison of Learn Play Imagine made for her boys. My kids painted outstanding pictures with a unique blend of colours.

They liked the activity as much as Foam Painting, but I need some more ideas, so if you can come up with something you want to share, leave a comment below
