#171: Industrial Elegance

Good morning lovely ones! Something a little different for our Monday mood board this week, as I get to share the inspiration behind a recent shoot that I (aka Louise Beukes Styling) was commissioned to style for You & Your Wedding magazine. As the UK's top selling bridal publication it was a real honour to be asked to create a brand new look inspired by a reader dilemma - how to combine the bride's love of vintage with the groom's background in chemistry. I though an industrial setting would be the perfect way to marry these two ideas, contrasting masculine and feminine details throughout the scheme. Exposed brick and industrial science-lab details, wire and metal paired with elegant florals in shades of plum and blush pink create a dramatic yet romantic effect.
