Afternoon You Gorgeous Lot!

They chose Got To Get You Into My Life by The Beatles and here's why....

Our first dance was to "Got To Get You Into My Life" by The Beatles. We umm-ed and ahh-ed over our choice for a little while as we've never really had "a song together" as some couples do, but we knew we wanted it to be something meaningful but upbeat so this was perfect - our ceremony was quite emotional and we wanted our first dance to really signal the start of the party! We also wanted New York Brass Band to pop up and surprise the guests by joining in part-way through so it needed to be a song that they could get involved with. I think we were just sitting at home one afternoon listening to Revolver and this track came on and we both just said "This would be an awesome first dance!". And so it was. Too bad we're horrible dancers! Haha.
