I've said it before and I will say it again. Make sure you invest what you can into your wedding photography. When the day is over and you want to remember every little detail, your treasured images will be there forever.

Today we get to know the lovely natural wedding photographer Sara Dalrymple who captures so much emotion in her timeless images. Let us take a look at her beautiful portfolio and get to know the lady behind the lens.

Hi! I'm Sara and I live in North-East London. When I'm not taking photos I can usually be found going for lovely long walks in Wanstead Park or Walthamstow Marshes, or trying to do up my house (a job that never ends!).

The best bit by far is making memories of my couples' wedding days through my photos. It's a lovely feeling to be able to provide tangible keepsakes of such a special day, and I love the thought of my photos lasting for future generations to look back on. One of my favourite parts is meeting and getting to know my couples, finding out their stories and what their passions are.

When I'm capturing a wedding I like to keep a strong focus on emotional connection - every wedding is packed full of lovely blink and you've missed them beautiful moments - and the more I've been able to get to know the couple beforehand, the better my understanding of these important moments. So much personality and individualism goes into every wedding I shoot and it's wonderful watching it all unfold through my camera.

Every wedding is so personal and individual to that couple and it never ceases to amaze me how no two are the same! Add in the love, excitement and utter joy of a wedding and for a hopeless romantic like me, it's the best work in the world!

I've always loved photography - and people - so it was natural to combine the two! For someone who loves weddings, it's the perfect job!

When I'm not shooting a wedding or pre-wedding shoot, a typical day will usually be spent at the computer editing photos, writing blog posts or going out meeting prospective clients. I often take my laptop to a café to work, as I don't like spending too much time in my office at home by myself (plus I have a bit of a cappuccino habit ☺)!

I love love LOVE the smell of fresh flowers and in another life I could have been very happy as a florist!

My main aim is to deliver a timeless set of beautiful photos, which show all the emotion of the day and the personalities of the people who were there. I love to capture laughter, tears and every emotion in between in my pictures. When the wedding is over, all that the couple are left with as a keepsake of the day are their memories and their photos (and a film if they hire a videographer). It's a huge responsibility and I want all my couples to love their photos and to know when they look through them exactly how they felt in that moment the photo was taken - forever.

Natural, beautiful and timeless.

My packages for a full day's coverage start at £1700.

The main 2 pieces of advice I always give are: 1) find a photographer who you feel comfortable with and who you feel you "click" with. You need to trust your photographer to understand your vision for the day and deliver a set of images you will love. They are going to be with you and mingling with your guests all day on your wedding day, so you want to make sure you find one you like and whom you feel is a good match for your wedding!

2) Don't be afraid to ask photographers for a complete set of wedding images from a previous wedding they have shot, so that you can see photos from every stage of the day. Photographers websites often show their favourite / best images only, but by looking at a complete wedding they've shot you can get a much better idea of their style.
