There is a lot to love about these dreamy country engagement photos from Queensland photographer White Images. The setting sun, of course gives a certain air of magic but there is also a beautiful peace about Laura and Sam and their love together.

As with most wonderful love stories, the happy couple met through a friend, noting, "We met through a mutual friend, Gaz, almost 10 years ago. Laura went to primary school with him and Sam meet him at University."

Laura and Sam remark, "We are best friends. We are always trying to make each other laugh. Whether it's date night or a lazy Friday night on the couch with chocolate, we are having fun."

It made sense for the couple to take engagement photos at sunset, Sam proposing at sunset at the beach.

The love started early. "One of our first dates was floating down a river on some pool toys. We floated underneath a boat to share a few kisses, only for the owner to catch us out."
