I had the pleasure of attending Greg Finck's first film-only LIGHT workshop recently in beautiful Provence, France. I extended my visit for the weekend and my husband joined me, not only did we have a couple portrait session with Greg (which was amazing), but we also took the time to explore a little.

We stayed at the very comfortable and friendly Les Domaines De Patras. The owner, Kéty and her husband are so accommodating and supply meals that include a lot of home grown ingredients and are always delicious!

My husband and I visited to two towns, one was Grignan where we also had our portrait session. An absolutely stunning and typical Provence town. Lots of wonderful stone roads to wonder through and get lost in the moment with your loved one. Its also well worth have a walk up to the castle to see the breathtaking views of Provence roof tops and scenery.

The second town we visited was Orange. which is north of Avignon and is famous for its fruit and roman theatre, Théâtre Antique which I must say is rather impressive.

If you are thinking of where to visit this summer, I highly recommend Provence, France. I will certainly be going back!
