Hops and Blues; Pretty Tuscan-Inspired Wedding Shoot

Hops and Blues; Pretty Tuscan-Inspired Wedding Shoot

via

Today, we've got such a pretty shoot to share with you guys, that incorporates two of our favourite up-and-coming trends.

The first is hops, a crop usually more associated with beer production that we've been seeing appear in bouquets, table garlands and as cake decor, over the past couple of months.

And the second, is blue. Blue might be a tried and tested wedding colour, but for a long time it was seen as old-fashioned, so we're pretty chuffed that soft, fresh, new blues are making a comeback.

And if two gorgeous trends (three if you count our beloved edible decor!) weren't enough to inspire you ahead of your big day, this shoot has also got classic style, fab hair ideas, beautiful tablescaping, lovely stationery and our favourite, elegant Tuscan vibes.

The work of a wonderfully talented team, that includes Britt Taylor behind the lens and Mint & Lovely on styling, this shoot has got so many pretty ideas to borrow for your own big day.

Scroll down to be inspired, but first up, read a bit more about the idea behind the shoot, from the creative vendors who put it all together...

About the Wedding Shoot

Surrounded by such amazing scenery, we wanted our designs to complement the natural beauty of the gardens. The details of this shoot were chosen intentionally to highlight the glimpses of beauty that can be found by simply walking a winding gravel path through the rose garden or peering just beyond the tall boxed hedges. Neutral tones and a dusty blue paired perfectly with the varying shades of green throughout the gardens. Copper hued candle holders set on a rich textured table linen brushed the stone path that the table was set on. A garland of hops and greens from a local farm cascading down each side took the lush table to new levels. To tie in the Tuscan feel, we incorporated fresh mission figs at each place setting with each of the guests name hand lettered on them.

So beautiful, right? I love the mix of calm vibes with refined decor. Those fig adornments are such an elegant touch (that can be achieved on a budget) and love the use copper and bronze metallics paired with the blue hues, instead of the usual gold or rose.

Oh and those Louboutins? Fab!

Thanks so much to Britt Taylor, Mint & Lovely and the rest of their fab team for sharing this wedding inspiration with us.
