The Perfect Day

On her wedding day, I suppose a bride wants to feel more beautiful than she ever has been, and more than her bridesmaids. I constructed this shot by telling the girls to just fawn over Kari, and for Kari to express how she feels on this day. I think I got exactly what I was looking for. I did blacken the background to isolate her and her bridesmaids to give the illusion that in this moment in time, this was the entire universe. I met Kari a couple years ago at a beauty pageant. She is the current Miss Ventura County International, and her weddings was nothing more than magical. There were 200 guests on a $10million yacht in Newport beach. We ate steak. There was an open bar. No one fell over the side and died. And most of her friends were fellow beauty contestants. Tough job. More photos of their wedding right here. Good times.
