I never thought I'd say this... but I'm doing dry January. It’s something I’ve scoffed at, eye rolled about and said “Fuck, I’d never do that!” every year for as long as I can remember. But this year I’m all for it. My body is screaming at me to give it a goddamn break. I’ve always loved a drink. Ever since I started going out with friends as a teenager, booze has been a constant and loyal companion. A way to relax at the end of a stressful day, a way to get the party started, a way to loosen up and bond with friends, a way to get me through the good and bad times... So here I am. Feeling naked and exposed, publicly committing to going 30 days booze-free. Anyone want to join me and keep each other accountable?
