I must confess I'm a watermelon junkie. Together with zucchini, this juicy and refreshing fruit is my basic summer food. I usually add it to fruit salads, use it as a sorbet base or eat it simple as it is. I've even used it as a cake base when I was trying out the No Bake Watermelon Cake. But today I'm not going to present you next dessert recipe, but a watermelon-inspired serving tray!

Apart from its practical side, this easy and fun DIY project will make a great decoration for all backyard parties you'll throw during the summer. I'm sure your kids will appreciate it's cheerful look too.
