Wow, what a weekend!

On Friday night I was invited to The Wedding Blog Awards 2014, hosted by Wedding Magazine at the gorgeous and rather swanky Savoy. I got to spend an afternoon being pampered in preparation with the lovely Gabi from Sweetpea PR, wear a fabulous frock from Maids to Measure, with the most stunning sparkly Vintage Styler necklace and Jimmy Choos (yes Choos!!) from Cindy's Choos. We were welcomed in to the ceremony room with champagne and plenty of smiles from the Wedding Magazine team and thoroughly spoilt with free-flowing champagne all evening. This year b.loved was nominated in two categories; Best Big Day Inspiration and Best Wedding DIY. Sadly we didn't win in either category, but are so proud and happy for the the very worth winners Nu Bride (who had everyone in awe with her truly inspiring thank you speech) and Bespoke Bride.

As Wedding Magazine Editor Claire took to the stand to present her Editor's Choice Award I remember just being so glad to be a part of this wonderful industry, enjoying an evening with some incredible inspiring industry colleagues and friends. So it was a complete an utter shock when she announced b.loved as the winner of this incredibly special prize!! I may have actually squealed. It still hasn't really sunk in, so today we're taking a day off to enjoy and celebrate, but not before thanking some incredible people for their support, commitment and love for b.loved... you!!! Thank you to all of my wonderful, stylish and gorgeous readers, contributors, friends and family who are always there helping me achieve my dreams - whether you're reading the blog, submitting your work, supporting the team or just recommending b.loved to your engaged friends. A huge thank you too the Claire and the team at Wedding Magazine for their recognition of b.loved as a stylish, forward-thinking blog. As we head towards our relaunch in just two weeks time, I can't think of a better way to celebrate the beginning of the new b.loved...
