Emily & Kieran

A country vineyard wedding is always right up my alley- there is a peace but a sense of fun and joy when playing amongst the vineyards and today’s gorgeous wedding of Emily and Kieran captures that festive spirit beautifully.

Emily tells the story of how they met “We both attended a student leadership forum and met some mutual friends. One of our good friends from the event moved overseas a couple of years later. We were introduced at the farewell and instantly connected over a conversation about High School Musical! We went out for coffee, then dinner and were dating within a few weeks after a beautiful breakfast in the Botanical Gardens of Sydney.”

Jonathan David Photography captured the beautiful photographs of today’s celebration.

Emily wore a strapless gown by Calabro, her bridesmaids wore lace frocks from H&M.

Emily and Kieran chose St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Mittagong for their ceremony, Emily saying  “It was gorgeous! The beautiful stonework and grounds won us over, and the pastoral team were friendly and very accommodating.” Emily walked down the aisle to River Flows in You (Orchestral Version) – Nathan Wu (original by Yiruma).

Emily describes the day as “Fun, loving, warm and blessed!”

Of their photographer, Emily says “Jonathan David was fantastic to work with. He was efficient, fun to hang out with and produced stunning photos. We have been so amazed at his willingness to go the extra mile. He did a wonderful job of using photography to tell the story of our special day.”

Emily and Kieran held their reception at Centennial Vineyards, Bowral. Emily remarks “Amazing!!! The staff are brilliant, the room was vintage and stunning, the food was incredible and our experience we had there was beyond our expectations. The vines and surrounds are beautiful and the building itself was like a classy French countryside chateau. We can’t speak highly enough of Centennial Vineyards and the incredible experience they created for us.”

For their first dance, Emily recalls “We went for a low-key, slow dance – we didn’t want too much emphasis on it! Our parents and bridal party joined us shortly after. We danced to Space They Cannot Touch – Kate Miller-Heidke.”

Congratulations Emily and Kieran! Thank you for sharing your wedding day with us! Thank you also to Jonathan David Photography for sharing today’s wedding!
