Good morning my b.loved’s! I’m feeling refreshed & revived for the week ahead after a super relaxing weekend. Mr B & I turned off the laptops & spent two days chilling in the garden and cosy-ing up on the sofa with a movie or two.  A perfect weekend after a busy month behind the scenes, and the perfect way to recharge the batteries ready for the next few months of shoot & event planning!

To make that calm & serene feeling last just a little bit longer, this week’s inspiration board is inspired by long lazy days by the lake.  With a touch of New England about it, the pretty pale pink & blue palette is just what’s needed for a romantic lakeside wedding.  There’s subtle boatyard references with rustic timber board place settings on a simple but beautiful tablescape, but the overriding theme is romance.  Blousey peonies, garden roses and floaty soft astilbe create the prettiest pink bouquets and floral arrangements displayed in blue glass bottles and held against the palest lake-blue bridesmaids dresses.  The floral theme continues in the most beautiful stationery, and flowers top a simple white three-tier cake with elegance.  Truly romantic bridal portraits take place on the jetty against the backdrop of a lakeside boat house with twinkling fairy lights, and in a sweetly decorated rowing boat for two.  Swoon!
