Sadie + Mike share a passion for adventure and travel as often as they can, so it only seemed natural that their gorgeous California barn wedding incorporated lots of fun vintage, travel-themed details! The wedding took place at The Dana Powers House in Nipomo, California, which is a beautiful, sprawling property with lovely gardens and architectural details everywhere you look. For their reception, they filled the barn with vintage china, burlap + lace table linens, and succulents planted in rusted goblets. I love that the bridesmaid’s dresses are so different, but cohesive with their varied shades of blue, and that Sadie + Mike cut their tiered cinnamon roll wedding cake with a sword! How fun – and what a unique cake! Oh, and if any of you are fans of Mad Men like us, you may recognize Sadie, who plays Scarlett on the show! :)

I remember putting my head on Mike's shoulder and closing my eyes for a lot of the first dance and got completely lost in my happiness and closeness to him....it felt like we were the only ones in the room.
