It’s the Lagos Fashion  and Design week and all the Fashionistas are out doing their creative things! It makes me wonder if there would be any style inspiration for our Grooms. I am tired of the black and gray ensembles and wish most grooms and their men would step out in style. Just like these men below. These days there’s really no rule of thumb on how you style your self for the wedding day as long as you do not carry the ‘too informal” or casual look, you’ll be fine. Playing with textures, patterns and colors normally does the trick.

No 1 Look:    I like the play of  colors here with the tie and handkerchief.

No 2 Look: This double-breasted suit is a simple lean look  that would fit in nicely irrespective of your wedding color. Your tie could carry the color if you wish.

No 3 Look:  What I particularly like about this hot style below is the checkered shirt on a double breasted suit. I wish to see this more often.

No 4 Look:  Do you notice how the tie and pocket handkerchief carried the color from the blue background?

No 5 Look: Is this one of my fave look? Yes! See the cute bow tie and unpredictable pink handky. A simple way to layer up.

No 6 Look: This Monochrome look is just wicked.  The stripes did all the talking for this one and very well nailed it!

No 7 Look: This beige color suit with no belt, knitted tie and off color pocket square would still work for a formal wear. I love the buttoned hook on his trousers

No 8 Look: For those of you looking to use army green, here is your inspiration.

No 9 Look: This is simple and very nice. Did you notice the pattern on his suit?
