Enchanted Woodland Shakespeare Wedding Ideas

Enchanted Woodland Shakespeare Wedding Ideas

via

This afternoon is all about dreamy wedding ideas and escapism.

Karen Whybro of Essex Vintage Wedding Fair kindly emailed me with this beautiful shoot she organised and styled. Inspired by a woodland Shakespeare wonderland feel, with autumnal hues, rustic touches and a hint of gold. I just adore the florals, the rustic wedding cake and glamourous make up.

Thanks so much to Marie Wootton for sharing her wonderful images with us today, here is what Karen had to say about the shoot;

“The inspiration behind this styled shoot was Woodland Shakespeare Wonderland. We wanted to capture the sense of enchanted woodland scenes and The Minories Art Gallery in Colchester was the perfect backdrop to such a theme. With a colour scheme of golds, chestnuts & deep reds and violets, we wanted to evoking tones of Autumn to work with the beautiful folly setting. The Minories Art Gallery is a truly stunning & unique wedding venue where our February 2014 vintage wedding fair will be taking place. Our model wore a truly ethereal gown by Charlotte Wilden which complimented her natural red locks and beautiful make up by Dawn Taylor. Lynette Chasmer Bridal & Prom hair design created a relaxed up-do which worked so well with the embellished collars from Velvet Eccentric, perfectly capturing the Elizabethan look. I absolutely loved creating and styling the table setting and chose a golden sequinned runner to create a magical feel and add some glitter! Wonderfully rustic furniture and props by new hire company Helene Millot created such a beautiful style to the table setting in front of the 18th century folly standing in the garden of the gallery. Paper confetti, pinwheel bunting and a woodland inspired carved book were created by stationer Claire Spake which worked perfectly with the woodland inspired cake by French Made. Marie Wootton captured the feel of the shoot remarkably well and the images are truly stunning.”
