Lady Gaga hit the red carpet at the 39th International Emmy Awards that was held at the Mercury Ballroom in New York City on Monday ( November 21 ). At the event, Gaga presented the International Emmy Founders Award to Nigel Lythgoe, the executive producer of “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Lady gaga praised Nigel for “all the early opportunities he gave me to perform on TV” as well as his $140 million in charitable contributions through Idol Gives Back and The Dizzy Feet Foundation.
