The perfect Thursday treat for all brides to be and fine art lovers as today we feature Wedding Sparrow favourite Taylor & Porter Photographs Jane Austen styled wedding inspiration. The sublime combination of an English Rose bridal style (her hair!) coupled with the wild outdoors make this wedding aesthetic the perfect summer palette for a country wedding. The colours in these images would make a soft yet broad colour palette for any bride looking to define her wedding day. Duck egg blues, soft corals and velvet ivory, I love this delicate shoot from these UK based fine art enthusiasts. Inspiration at it's best.

Shooting exclusively on real film their photographs reflect the elegance and romance of the regency era; a true golden age. Award winning designer Annalise Harvey was commissioned to create a wedding dress by the Jane Austen Festival organisers to help celebrate the bicentenary of the publication of Pride and Prejudice. A costume designer by training with a strong heritage in the ballet world, including international dance house Sadlers Wells; award-winning Couturier Annie's one off creation "Lizzy" was a reflection of all that she found inspiring in 19th century style. Designed with a modern Elizabeth Bennet in mind, its layers of silk flutter delicately and its empire line cut echoes the era perfectly. Lace detailing was picked up by Milliner Holly Young who created a pretty bespoke headpiece in collaboration with Annalise. Model Eleanor Cooper's porcelain skin and flowing naturally auburn hair made her the perfect choice as an English Rose. Heirloom coral jewellery and soft coral florals spoke of the autumnal timing to the September shoot. Hair & Make Up was by Sarah Hooper and Ella Butler who kept the look soft and pretty, achieving a contemporary, softer version of a 19th century hairstyle. The shoot took place in the grounds of the idyllic wedding venue of Nancarrow Organic Farm. Owned and run by the same family since 1805, its grade II listed farm house embodies generations of family history, and its walled garden and grazed pastures look down to a wooded valley below. They delved into the family's collection of antique table linen and furniture, blue and white willow pattern porcelain, cut glass and silverware to create an intimate table for two. The botanically inspired stationery was bespoke letter pressed by Artcadia and styled with organically grown flowers by The Garden Gate Flower Company. They used home-grown English roses, dahlias and Cornish wild flowers to create a classic, romantic feel.

Wedding Sparrow is teaming up with UK film photographers Taylor & Porter soon for an epic Scottish Highlands styled shoot so be sure to follow them on Facebook for sneak peeks!
