A geometric gallery origami how-to: a fun display for your wedding photos

This fall I learned so much researching paper folds and while crafting for our Fab Folds story in the current Spring issue. The story highlights ways to include folded paper from a show-stopping ceremony marker to subtle favor packaging.

While sorting through inspiration for our story, the image below caught my eye because of the simple folds that create this statement piece. To create this hexagonal prism, print and trace this template onto your selected paper, then cut, fold, and adhere tabs. Add your image to the hexagon in the center, and repeat creating a beehive of images to display! I can imagine a gallery of engagement portraits, Instagram pictures of the bride and groom throughout their courtship, or wedding day portraits of generations past.

Designer Amy Rodchester created this piece with images of dancing feet.
