Do you want your wedding to feel like a lawn party? Break out the croquet set and the preppy wedding cakes. Utilizing stereotypically preppy patterns like argyle and madras plaid or Chet-worthy palettes of navy, pink, and green these cakes are everything best about classic prep. Just looking at all of these pretty creations makes me want to go watch Heathers and Pretty in Pink. In fact, I'm pretty sure all of the Heathers could have gotten along if they had these monogrammed cakes to share!

We're also pretty crazy about these cakes and how they stealthily incorporate some of our very favorite details like dainty bows and Swiss dots.

You will notice that ribbons also play a big part in these cakes. Especially lovely is the striped navy and white bow (above, right). It would go really well with a beachside preppy affair. Also falling into the beachy prep category is this madras-inspired plaid (below).

These two cakes above remind me off of golf shirts and tennis skirts-the ultimate in preppy activities! They would definitely be the stars of any dessert table!
